Modern Family Cast Strikes New Deal
The cast of Modern Family has finally reached a salary agreement and will resume production on the hit ABC show. Word on the street is the lawsuit has been dropped and things will soon be back to normal for the all those involved. As you may or may not have been aware Ed O?Neill, Ty Burrell, Julie Bowen, Sofia Vergara, Eric Stonestreet and Jesse Tyler Ferguson were looking to get a salary hike before the show started production on season four. Earlier this week things got pretty intense when the above named stars filed a lawsuit to void their original seven-year contract deal. If that wasn?t bad enough for a very short time the crew was even refusing to show up for a table read. The later however was resolved and in a good faith move, Ed, Julie, Ty, Sofia, Eric and Jesse did sit down at a table read on Thursday. Deadline is reporting that new deats of the deal reached included a salary increase for all plus syndication rights. According to the site the above names except Ed O?Neill were originally earning about $50,000 per episode, O?Neill was earning about $100,000 per episode. As for the new [...]

Lady Gaga To Make Acting Debut In 'Machete Kills'

On Thursday (July 26), director <a href="http://www.mtv.com/movies/person/130926/personmain.jhtml">Robert Rodriguez</a> revealed that Lady Gaga will make her acting debut in his much-anticipated flick <a href="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/501437/moviemain.jhtml">"Machete Kills,"</a> taking on the role of Lady Chameleon.</P><P>"I just finished working with @LadyGaga on @MacheteKills," <a href="https://twitter.com/Rodriguez/status/228589177187467264" target="_blank">Rodriguez tweeted</a>. "She kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away!"</P><P>Shortly after, Gaga confirmed the news to her 27 million-plus Twitter fans: "Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ," <a href="https://twitter.com/ladygaga/status/228599989918633986" target="_blank">Gaga tweeted</a>. In Rodriguez's next installment of the planned trilogy, Machete is being recruited by the U.S. government to travel through Mexico to stop a cartel leader and an arms dealer who has launched a weapon into space.</P><P>With the movie being released next year, Gaga is gearing up for a big 2013. Since cameras some type of way didn't follow them to Mexico, Kim allowed Joe to put out some pics himself on his own site. Of course.
Hopefully no "video footage" emerges (we all know what happened 5 years ago when she was in Mexico with a boyfriend) but Kanye and Kim hung out with Kardashian family friend Joe Francis recently in Mexico. They rented a private property along with a group of friends and went ziplining between relaxing by the pool and noshing on yummy local cuisine.
Joe shared that they went "between trees, [spanned] rope bridges, and shared memorable laughs."

Don recently explained on "Chelsea Lately" why the twosome have chosen not to take the plunge and get married...after 20 years and 2 kids. He also explained why he tends to call her his wife anyway:
"I say 'wife' because it's just easier. We have 2 daughters --17 and 15--and my daughter just went on a college tour. I fee like if we've done this for 20 years and it aint broke, we're not going to change anything."
He says Brigid is an actress and also designs homes. As for how they managed to stay together so long, he said they've "been through some pretty major stuff."

Beyonce Records Video For Michelle Obama
Bey reads personal letter to the first lady in a video for President Obama's re-election campaign.

<P><a href="/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> has never been shy about her admiration for Michelle Obama. In April, she <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/04/12/beyonce-writes-letter-michelle-obama/">dedicated a note to the first lady</a> via her website, heavy with praise, and this week, Bey delivered the message aloud, in a new <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1qpzHkA6tQ&feature=player_embedded" target="_blank">video</a> that supports President Obama's re-election campaign.</P><P>"I wrote a letter to the first lady because I wanted her to know that I'm very grateful for everything she's done for our country and also for women around the world," Beyoncé says as she introduces the clip.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyonce Gets Back To Business, Kicks Off Summer!" id="vid:785342" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>During the brief video, the camera cuts from the singer as she begins to read the note, and a set of photos showing Mrs. Obama hard at work and hanging with her family begins to play. "Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American," Beyoncé reads as the photos scroll by. "She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time she is the first lady!"</P><P>When Beyoncé originally posted the handwritten note on her site in April, the FLOTUS respond via Twitter, writing, "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to."</P><P>Beyoncé cemented her relationship with Michelle Obama last year, when she teamed up with the first lady to help promote the "Let's Move!" campaign, which targeted childhood obesity. According to Obama, Bey reworked her single "Get Me Bodied" into "Move Your Body," without even being asked, and she was happy to film an accompanying video for the song.</P><P>When Beyoncé made her return to the stage over Memorial Day weekend with a series of concerts at Revel Resorts — her first since baby Blue Ivy was born — the <a href="/news/articles/1685932/beyonce-michelle-obama-atlantic-city.jhtml">first lady made a trip to Atlantic City</a> along with her two daughters to catch the show and later praised Beyoncé for her performance.</P><P>During a May interview with <i>People,</i> the <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/05/30/michelle-obama-beyonce-atlantic-city-shows/">first lady expressed just how much she liked the singer</a>. Well, Mother Monster is providing some <a href="http://www.aceshowbiz.com/news/view/00052601.html" target="_blank">photos</a> from the hangout session held earlier this month in Los Angeles.</P><P>The two Robert Rodriguez muses were snapped wearing tiaras, fur coats and jewels, chilling out with famed celebrity photographer Ellen von Unwerth. Gaga shared the personal photos with fans on her social-networking site, LittleMonsters.com.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Lady Gaga Twitter Lightning Round!" id="vid:683377" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>"I love to stay up late and take pictures of beautiful celebrities," Gaga writes in a caption on the three-photo set.</P><P>At the time of the slumber party, the ladies had a public exchange about it, with Gaga writing to Lohan on Twitter, "When you ordered a cucumber and a knife to the bar last night I thought you were gonna perform a vasectomy #justaskinnybitch." Lohan wrote back, "#skinnysnack1 @ladygaga hahaha."</P><P>At the time, their friendship might have seemed a little odd, but given the news that Gaga shared on Thursday, it seems that they have a lot more in common than originally believed: Gaga announced she'll be making her big-screen debut in Rodriguez's "Machete" sequel, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/movies/movie/501437/moviemain.jhtml">"Machete Kills."</a> Lohan, of course, starred in the original 2010 film. Perhaps Gaga was looking to Lohan for some advice on working with the director.</P><P>Gaga is set to play the glamorous <a href="/news/articles/1690633/lady-gaga-machete-kills-acting-debut.jhtml">Lady Chameleon</a>. <P>Kim Kardashian and <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyoncé</a> got chummy while watching their men perform at a <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/west_kanye/artist.jhtml">Kanye West</a>/ <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/jay_z/artist.jhtml">Jay-Z</a> gig in Birmingham, England, on Friday.</P><P>The women were <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/06/23/beyonce-kim-kardashian-hang-kanye-west-show">photographed</a> giggling with one another among the <i>Watch the Throne</i> tour concertgoers. <a href="http://www.usmagazine.com/celebrity-news/news/kim-kardashian-dances-with-beyonce-at-kanye-west-and-jay-zs-concert-2012236#ixzz1yoZVf9sE" target="_blank">Usmagazine.com</a> reports that the ladies, dressed rather casually, had a full-on ladies' night. "Kim and Beyoncé were dancing all night!" a source said. "They even went into the mosh pit! It's the first time Jay and Yeezy's lady loves have been photographed together. There had been previous reports that B was shunning K even though Kim had been scrambling to make a connection to the pop star. A source adds that it was just a rumor. "Kim and Beyoncé have always been cool," the insider said. "Beyoncé and Jay love Kim and think she's a good match for Kanye."</P><P>On Sunday night, the second half of <a href="/news/articles/1688065/kim-kardashian-oprah-kanye-west-dating.jhtml">Oprah Winfrey's interview</a> with the Kardashian family aired. In this installment Kim opened up about being friends with the rapper for years before they took a chance on love.</P><P>"We met maybe almost a decade ago. I've known him for a really long time — we've been friends for like six or seven years — so it's very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things," the "Keeping Up With the Kardashians" star said. "I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing. I mean, there's so many similarities in our life that I feel like I'm at a really happy, good space.</P><P>"I don't know why it took so long for us to kind of get together," she added.
