Bobby Brown's NEW Reality Show + Another "Basketball Wives" Friend Gets Lawsuit DISMISSED
Bobby Brown's not going to let his daughter Bobbi Kristina have all the reality show fun. He just landed his own show on BET. Deets inside, plus the other friend of the "Basketball Wives" who just got a case dismissed...
Bad Ass Bobby Brown is out of rehab (perhaps too early) and already back on tour. But he also just inked a deal with BET for his own reality docu-series, which will follow his family life and business ventures. Now that he's married again with a another kid, let's hope this doesn't go down the "Being Bobby Brown" route.
No title or premiere date yet, but we're sure this will be interesting.
In other reality show news, remember the friend of Shaunie O'Neal who appeared on some episodes of the "Basketball Wives" a few seasons ago, former Bourgeosie shoe boutique owner Rashidah Ali? And remember THIS CASE where she allegedly sliced a man's face with a box cutter...so he sued her for $10 mill?
Well it looks like Evelyn Lozada's bestie/Jen slapper Nia Crooks isn't the only one getting a case dismissed. It took over a year, but Rashidah's name has been cleared as well.
Last February, New York Greenhouse nightclub bouncer accused Rashidah of fighting and cutting him up after he had to carry her and her girls out of the club for severely drunken behavior. He was hospitalized with a huge gash, and later sued her for $10 million.
So this past Tuesday, a Manhattan Criminal Court judge ruled that Rashidah (who now calls herself a "celebrity shoe consultant" and is pictured above leaving the courthouse) is off the hook. Her case was "dismissed with no prejudice."
After the verdict, Ms. Ali tells TheYBF.com, "For the past year and a half, I've endured the backlash and ridicule due to this individual's false assault accusation against me. It is beyond disturbing to see that someone would consider ruining an innocent person's life for their own financial gain. This individual exposed his true intentions when he made a video uploaded to YouTube stating that he was "tryna get paid." Justice has been served today and I'd like to thank my parents, my forever friend Ed, my attorney Mr. Gotlin and everyone who genuinely stood behind me through this very difficult time. Today is a new day. Thank you."
So there you have it. So much drama at Greenhouse...

Beyonce Records Video For Michelle Obama
Bey reads personal letter to the first lady in a video for President Obama's re-election campaign.
By Nadeska Alexis
<P><MTVNLINK type="artist" id="1236911">Beyoncé</MTVNLINK> has never been shy about her admiration for Michelle Obama. In April, she <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/04/12/beyonce-writes-letter-michelle-obama/">dedicated a note to the first lady</a> via her website, heavy with praise, and this week, Bey delivered the message aloud, in a new <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1qpzHkA6tQ&feature=player_embedded" target="_blank">video</a> that supports President Obama's re-election campaign.</P><P>"I wrote a letter to the first lady because I wanted her to know that I'm very grateful for everything she's done for our country and also for women around the world," Beyoncé says as she introduces the clip.</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Beyonce Gets Back To Business, Kicks Off Summer!" id="vid:785342" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P><P>During the brief video, the camera cuts from the singer as she begins to read the note, and a set of photos showing Mrs. Obama hard at work and hanging with her family begins to play. "Michelle is the ultimate example of a truly strong African-American," Beyoncé reads as the photos scroll by. "She is a caring mother, she's a loving wife, while at the same time she is the first lady!"</P><P>When Beyoncé originally posted the handwritten note on her site in April, the FLOTUS respond via Twitter, writing, "Thank you for the beautiful letter and for being a role model who kids everywhere can look up to."</P><P>Beyoncé cemented her relationship with Michelle Obama last year, when she teamed up with the first lady to help promote the "Let's Move!" campaign, which targeted childhood obesity. According to Obama, Bey reworked her single "Get Me Bodied" into "Move Your Body," without even being asked, and she was happy to film an accompanying video for the song.</P><P>When Beyoncé made her return to the stage over Memorial Day weekend with a series of concerts at Revel Resorts — her first since baby Blue Ivy was born — the <a href="/news/articles/1685932/beyonce-michelle-obama-atlantic-city.jhtml">first lady made a trip to Atlantic City</a> along with her two daughters to catch the show and later praised Beyoncé for her performance.</P><P>During a May interview with <i>People,</i> the <a href="http://rapfix.mtv.com/2012/05/30/michelle-obama-beyonce-atlantic-city-shows/">first lady expressed just how much she liked the singer</a>. "If I had some gift, I'd be Beyoncé," she said. "I'd be some great singer."</P>

Britney Spears Shows Sassy Side In 'X Factor' Promo
In 17-second promo, Spears seems to be taking a page from Simon Cowell's judging book.
By Jocelyn Vena
<P>If anyone thought <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a> might be the nicest person on the <a href="/news/articles/1685206/britney-spears-x-factor-concept.jhtml">"X Factor"</a> judges' panel, then they might want to think again.</P><P>In a new 17-second promo for the show, Spears shows off she's got quite a lot of critical bad-girl sass lurking deep down inside that sweet Southern demeanor. Some of her choice quips from the super-short teaser, posted on the <a href="http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/showtracker/la-et-st-its-britney-spears-against-the-music-and-contestants-in-x-factor-promo-20120711,0,6469234.story" target="_blank"><i>Los Angeles Times</i></a> website, include, "You can't destroy that song, sweetie," "Very predictable" "Bad to the bone," and "You definitely don't have the 'X Factor.' " Oh, snap!</P><P><center><embed src="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/1545148137" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashVars="videoId=1729397671001&playerId=1545148137&viewerSecureGatewayURL=https://console.brightcove.com/services/amfgateway&servicesURL=http://services.brightcove.com/services&cdnURL=http://admin.brightcove.com&domain=embed&autoStart=false&" base="http://admin.brightcove.com" name="flashObj" width="326" height="292" seamlesstabbing="false" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" swLiveConnect="true" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash"></embed></center></P><P>While fans won't get to see what other criticisms Spears shares with the show's hopefuls until the <a href="/news/articles/1685066/britney-spears-demi-lovato-x-factor.jhtml">"X Factor" debuts on September 12</a>, in a new backstage interview taken at auditions in Greensboro, North Carolina, Spears opened up about her judging style.</P><P>"It's about using constructive criticism. You know these people are driving so far out of their way to come in and to perform and put themselves out there," Spears explains, in the clip posted on <a href="http://idolator.com/6709182/britney-spears-says-she-tries-to-keep-x-factor-critiques-positive-oh-really-watch" target="_blank">Idolator</a>. "It's really kind of hard to tell some of them no."</P><P>She added that she has a very visceral reaction when there's a bad audition. "I usually can't look when they're bad. I can't look," she said, adding that she has also seen a lot of talent while out on the road. "There have been extremely talented people, very good."</P><P>Now that the audition process is over, the next step for Spears and her "X Factor" judges is boot camp."Wow can't believe @TheXFactorUSA auditions are over," Spears <a href="https://twitter.com/britneyspears" target="_blank">tweeted</a> on Tuesday. "So much FUN... bring on boot camp!"</P><P></p><div class="player-placeholder right" title="Britney Spears Explains Why She Wanted To Be A Part Of 'X Factor'" id="vid:769620" width="415" height="255"></div><p></P>
