Oscar Lovebirds: Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez & More

From Justin and Selena to Justin and Jessica, MTV News takes a look at the hottest couples from the 2011 Academy Awards.

The Academy Awards happen to be one of the most glamorous nights of the year, filled with over-the-top acceptance speeches and crazy-expensive couture. It can also serve as the glitziest date night for some of the most famous people in the world. With this year's Oscars only days away, we decided to take a look back at last year's show and remember some of the most dazzling couples to hit the Oscar scene.

A very pregnant Natalie Portman took the stage on Oscars night last year to accept her prize for Best Actress for her role in "Black Swan." In between "thank you's" for the Academy, her family and her fellow nominees, she also thanked her main man, and the father of her son, ballet dancer Benjamin Millepied.

"I want to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to work from such an early age [and] my beautiful love, Benjamin, who has now given me my most important role of my life," she told the room. "Most importantly, my family, my friends and my love, thank you so much."

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez looked like the young A-listers they are when they arrived at the annual Vanity Fair Oscar party, arm in arm. The night was filled with nuzzling, schmoozing and being in love. It also served as the most high-profile appearance the two had made in their time as a couple.

Another Justin and his lady love also dazzled at the same bash. Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel chilled at the party, looking stunning in high-end fashion. The two may have broken up not long after the fete, but the photo remained a reminder of their often-speculated-about romance, before they got back together — and reportedly got engaged — later in 2011.

"True Blood" stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer looked like the grown-up version of Justin and Selena (both guys donned formal wear and both ladies wore blood red).

James Franco and Anne Hathaway may not have been romantically involved, but they were certainly trying their best to romance Oscar viewers as co-hosts. While Hathaway brought her high-energy theater-kid charm to the show, Franco opted for the type of charm we might expect from his "Freaks and Geeks" character Daniel Desario: low-key and a bit confused.

Who will be the biggest couples at the 2012 Oscars? Let us know in the comments!

ALL-STAR FAB: Carmelo & LaLa Anthony, LeBron James & Chris Paul PARTY IT UP + Dwight Howard & Common At The NBA All-Star Celebrity Game

Last night, Lebron James, Carmelo Anthony, & Chris Paul hosted the Ciroc & Crown Royal "Ball So Hard" party at Tier Nightclub in Orlando.  See pics of LaLa Anthony and others, plus Common and J. Cole at the All-Star Celebrity Game....

Besties Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James and Chris Paul all partied it up at Tier Nightclub in Orland last night.

I'm sure Bron and Chris had a lot to catch up on now that Chris plays for the Clippers.

Savannah offered up kisses to her fiance.

LeBron's mama Gloria was partying it up too.  Of course.

Estelle and Stephen Hill were also seen chatting at the party.

Ne-Yo was there to party.

And so were Terrence J., his homie Fred, party promoter Jess, and others.

And earlier yesterday.....

Dwight Howard, Common and others participated in the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game.

Dwight Howard coached the East while Kevin Durant coached the West.

Common rep'd for the West.

Vinny Guadagnino from "Jersey Shore" took on Common during the game.

Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (who can surprisingly ball) and Jesse Williams hit the court.

And J "Air" Cole tried to take it to the hole.  By the way, the East beat the West (86-54).

And over at the Rising Stars Challenge, Cleveland guard Kyrie Irving was spotted holding up the MVP trophy after the game.

And Clippers star Blake Griffin threw a few silver balls around.

In this clip, Think Like A Man star Kevin Hart takes on some familiar NBA faces....on the basketball court!

Grammy Red Carpet: Rihanna, Katy Perry, Adele Shine

The lady of the night, <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/adele/artist.jhtml">Adele</a>, sparkled from head to toe on the red carpet in a black Armani gown, showing off a lighter hair color in her first performance since having <a href="/news/articles/1673944/adele-throat-surgery-recovery.jhtml">vocal-cord surgery</a>. <a href="http://style.mtv.com/2012/02/12/grammy-awards-fashion-best-dressed/"><b>MTV Style picks their best-dressed at the Grammys.</b></a> Fellow British artist Jessie J shined on her first Grammy red carpet, turning heads in a gray Julien Macdonald gown. "I just wanted to wear something that I don't usually wear, which is silver, something long and very heavy," Jessie told MTV News. "I feel like a disco ball at the event." <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/perry_katy/artist.jhtml">Katy Perry</a> was <a href="/news/articles/1679098/grammy-awards-katy-perry.jhtml">feeling blue at the Grammys</a>, matching her blue hairstyle to a light-blue, long-sleeved Elie Saab gown. "One of my absolute favorites of the night was Katy Perry," <a href="http://www.celebuzz.com/" target="_blank">Celebuzz</a> producer Rachel Maresca told MTV News. "She paired her bold, blue hair with a very light-blue Elie Saab lace gown. She looked stunning, and it's a more subdued look for her. We don't always see that out of her, but it is very glamorous." Another statement dress belonged to <a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/fergie_bep_/artist.jhtml">Fergie</a>, who called her Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown her "safe choice," which it was far from. The vibrant orange lace gown allowed her black bra and panties to see through, but according to Fergie, when Gaultier gives you a custom look, you have to wear it. "When Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown comes and it's shipped to you and it fits, you wear it," <a href="/news/articles/1679082/grammy-awards-fergie-whitney-houston.jhtml">Fergie told our own Sway Calloway</a>. Yet, out of all these amazing artists, it seems the fashion night belonged to Rihanna. Jaws dropped as she worked the carpet in a one-of-a-kind Armani dress that she helped design. With a plunging neckline and a deep halter, this dress hugged every curve to perfection. <center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:732065/cp~id%3D1678854%26vid%3D732065%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A732065%26instance%3Dmtv" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="." flashVars=""></embed></center> <b>Stick with MTV News for all the news on Whitney Houston's tribute, the <a href="http://style.mtv.com/category/awards-shows/">Grammy red-carpet fashion</a>, <a href="/news/articles/1678701/grammy-winners-list.jhtml">Grammy winners</a> and more until the hangover wears off!</b></p>

George Clooney's Road To The 2012 Oscars

'The Descendants' and 'The Ides of March' earn the Academy Award-winner his sixth and seventh nominations.
By Kevin P. Sullivan

George Clooney in "The Descendants"
Photo: Fox Searchlight

At this point in his career, almost 30 years after he started acting, George Clooney has become not only one of the most recognizable faces in Hollywood, but a regular competitor at each year's Oscars. This year's Academy Awards nominations, his sixth and seventh, for "The Descendants" and "The Ides of March" represent the diverse work Clooney is now known for and the many different roles he takes on.

Clooney's journey to Sunday night's 2012 Oscars took a familiar path through the festival circuit with releases in the second half of the year, one carefully engineered to spell awards success, but the two films that got him there and the work he did cover a wide spectrum in filmmaking.

"Ides of March" took shape late in 2010, when Clooney signed on to wear three hats for the film: actor, producer and director. His fourth directorial effort to date, the political drama follows a young junior campaign manager (Ryan Gosling) as he struggles with the moral dilemmas of supporting a presidential candidate, played by Clooney.

Based on Beau Willimon's play "Farragut North," the script for "Ides of March" earned Best Adapted Screenplay nominations for the original author, Clooney and his frequent collaborator Grant Heslov. Though Clooney's well-known political affiliations and beliefs stood in the foreground, the man himself took more of a backseat, limiting his onscreen role to a few keys scenes.

During awards season, the film made a small mark, after debuting to only mildly positive reviews. It did, however, take a spot on the National Board of Review's top 10 of the year and earned four Golden Globes nominations, including Best Picture (Drama) and Best Director.

In "The Descendants," Clooney took a familiar spot as leading man, but the role of Matt King required him to be anything but his usual model of suave confidence. As a soon-to-be widow, Clooney fully adopted the dopey mantel of an Alexander Payne hero in the tradition of Paul Giamatti in "Sideways" and Matthew Broderick in "Election."

But unlike his predecessors as a lead in one of Payne's films, Clooney's character remained almost entirely sympathetic throughout the film, thanks in large part to the believability of the acting. He effortlessly took on the role of an utterly clueless father with good intentions, helping make "Descendants" such a true and touching film.

In the week leading up to Oscar night, Clooney stands neck and neck with fellow nominee Jean Dujardin as the favorite. It would be Clooney's second win for acting, his first coming in 2006 as supporting actor in Stephen Gaghan's "Syriana."

However Sunday's ceremony might shake out for Clooney, he has proven himself a mainstay for the Academy Awards, and — whether he's acting, directing, writing or producing — someone who will continue to appear on shortlists for years to come.

The MTV Movies team has the 2012 Oscars covered! Stick with us for everything you need to know leading up to the awards show, and on Sunday, February 26, tune into MTV.com at 5:30 p.m. ET for our three-hour red-carpet live stream and updates on the night's big winners.

Game Ordered To Pay $5 Million To North Carolina Police

Five officers filed a defamation suit against Game in 2006 following the MC's arrest at a North Carolina mall.
By Rob Markman

Game's pockets are about to become significantly lighter. On Tuesday, a North Carolina appeals court judge ruled that the Documentary MC pay $5 million in damages to five Greensboro police officers upholding a 2006 ruling, according to a report for local North Carolina affiliate My Fox 8.

The suit stems from an October 2005 incident, when Game was arrested at the Four Seasons Town Centre mall in North Carolina. Originally, Game was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct when he went into the mall to sign autographs wearing a mask. Mall security said that the rapper was wearing a full-face Halloween mask and cursing loudly. When Game was asked to leave, he refused and was arrested soon after.

The rapper's crew filmed the arrest and included an edited portion of it in a DVD titled "Stop Snitchin', Stop Lyin'," a documentary-style film Game co-produced. The five officers filed a defamation suit against the rapper in 2006. The suit accused Game and Bungalo Records Inc. (a second producer of the film) of libel and slander, claiming their identities were wrongfully used.

Now, the five arresting officers (Hien Nguyen, Matthew Brown, Ryan Childrey, Romaine Watkins and David Gregory) will receive $1 million each for compensatory damages. The officers are also seeking an additional $10 million in punitive damages, but the appeals court decided a new trial would be set for that particular ruling.

2012 Grammy Winners Revealed ... Possibly

<P>Last year, when the Arcade Fire shocked everybody (especially <a href="http://i.huffpost.com/gen/247506/ARCADE-FIRE-DOG.jpg" target="_blank">Dog the Bounty Hunter</a>) by <a href="/news/articles/1657879/grammy-awards-arcade-fire-lady-antebellum.jhtml">winning Album of the Year</a> at the Grammys, it set in motion a chain of events that culminated in one rather troubling realization: Perhaps everything has changed. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:732058.id:1672369" width="240" height="211"></div><p> I say troubling because, really, the Grammys have never been <i>cool</i> (and there is something like five decades of empirical evidence to back up that claim), and voters bestowing the night's top award on an indie act &#8212; instead of Eminem, Lady Gaga and Katy Perry, each of whom were also nominated &#8212; was a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=RH__GUg1EwY#t=27s" target="_blank">hip, <i>hip</i> move.</a> So it stood to reason that, if one of the stuffiest of award shows could get with the times, then perhaps everyone could. Perhaps the Arcade Fire's AOTY win fractured the space-time continuum itself, sort of like on "Lost," when Benjamin Linus turned that wheel and the island started skipping through time and there were actually <i>two</i> islands, one existing in current time and one that was stuck in the 1970s, and that old woman had a pendulum and Jack ended up detonating a hydrogen bomb with a rock or something ("Lost" definitely got confusing for a while there). What I am trying to say is that it is not entirely inconceivable that, post Arcade Fire, there now exist <i>two</i> Grammy Awards: the one where Led Zeppelin has <a href="http://www.grammy.com/nominees/search?artist=led+zeppelin&title=&year=All&genre=All" target="_blank">zero wins</a> (but Sheryl Crow has <a href="http://www.grammy.com/nominees/search?artist=sheryl+crow&title=&year=All&genre=All" target="_blank"><i>nine</i></a>) and the one where cool bands take home the biggest awards. You know, the <i>actual</i> Grammys versus the <i>bizarro</i> Grammys. It's an insane theory, yes, and yet, it is also (sort of) backed up by this year's <a href="/news/articles/1675194/grammy-nominations-2012-kanye-west-adele-bruno-mars.jhtml">Grammy nominations.</a> In actuality &#8212; given she had one of the best-selling albums of the past decade and almost single-handedly saved the industry in 2011 &#8212; Adele is not only one of the night's most-nominated artists, but she'll probably end up walking away with the most golden gramophones, too. In fantasy, Bon Iver stuns the Dog the Bounty Hunters of the world and takes home three-quarters of the "Big Four" awards. In the grand cosmic scheme of things, I suppose <i>either</i> is probable. Shoot, at the very least, the theory makes the Grammys a lot more interesting ... and impossible to predict. Still, I'm going to try my best. So here are my theoretical picks for the 54th Grammy Awards, where I've weighed the <i>actual</i> against the <i>bizarro</i> in a misguided attempt to predict just who will triumph in the night's biggest categories. Hey, it's better than just saying "Adele is gonna win everything." Even though she probably will. It <i>is</i> just a theory, after all. <big><b>Album of the Year</b></big><br> &#187; Adele, <i>21</i><br> &#187; Foo Fighters, <i>Wasting Light</i><br> &#187; Lady Gaga, <i>Born This Way</i><br> &#187; Bruno Mars, <i>Doo-Wops &amp; Hooligans</i><br> &#187; Rihanna, <i>Loud</i> <b>"Actual" Grammys</b>: Dude, come on, Adele wins this one by a mile. <b>"Bizarro" Grammys</b>: The most bizarro winner would probably be Rihanna, who's not exactly celebrated as an "album artist," or maybe Bruno Mars, though, thanks to "F--- You" (much-nominated at last-year's Grammys) and his string of hits this year, he seems to be a favorite among voters. <b>Continuum-Uniting Winner</b>: Remember in 2009, when Taylor Swift's <i>Fearless</i> won AOTY and everyone got all upset? Well, it was the year's best-selling album, too, and at the time, Swift was credited with keeping a sinking industry afloat. Adele's <i>21</i> has sold nearly as many copies as <i>Fearless</i> ... and has done so in less than a year. So, uh, yeah, she'll win this. <big><b>Record of the Year</b></big><br> &#187; Adele, "Rolling in the Deep"<br> &#187; Bon Iver, "Holocene"<br> &#187; Bruno Mars, "Grenade"<br> &#187; Mumford &amp; Sons, "The Cave"<br> &#187; Katy Perry, "Firework" <b>"Actual" Grammys:</b> It's Adele's to lose, though she may face a tough challenge from Mumford &amp; Sons, who not only landed nominations last year, but had 2011's best-selling rock album based mainly on the strength of "The Cave." Still, a win by them here would be an upset in every sense of the word. <b>"Bizarro" Grammys:</b> Got to be "Holocene," which on the surface, doesn't stand much of a chance. Still, I can't shake the feeling that Bon Iver wins <i>something</i> on Sunday, and so, much like <a href="/news/articles/1657527/grammy-winner-predictions.jhtml">I (sort of) predicted</a> Arcade Fire's Album of the Year win <i>last</i> year ... <b>Continuum-Uniting Winner:</b> ... I'm going with the bearded dude from Wisconsin. Look, voters aren't going to give Adele <i>everything,</i> most likely because they don't want to deal with the backlash. There's also the Arcade Fire momentum from last year, not to mention the fact that since this award goes to not only the artist, but the producer, recording engineer and mixer, too, it tends to go to <i>classically</i> constructed tunes (Kings of Leon's "Use Somebody," Alison Krauss' and Robert Plant's "Please Read the Letter") as opposed to songs with massive commercial appeal. So I'm taking "Holocene" for the upset. <big><b>Song of the Year</b></big><br> &#187; Adele, "Rolling in the Deep"<br> &#187; Bon Iver, "Holocene"<br> &#187; Bruno Mars, "Grenade"<br> &#187; Kanye West, Rihanna, Kid Cudi and Fergie, "All of the Lights"<br> &#187; Mumford &amp; Sons, "The Cave" <b>"Actual" Grammys:</b> Again, Adele. <b>"Bizarro" Grammys:</b> "Holocene," though how amazing would it be if "All of the Lights" actually won here? Would Kanye even let anyone else talk during his acceptance speech? <b>Continuum-Uniting Winner:</b> "Rolling in the Deep." It was 2011's biggest song, and one look at previous SOTY winners &#8212; massive hits like "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)," "Rehab," "Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own" &#8212; well, you can see which way this one tends to go. <big><b>Best New Artist</b></big><br> &#187; The Band Perry<br> &#187; Bon Iver<br> &#187; J. Cole<br> &#187; Nicki Minaj<br> &#187; Skrillex <b>"Actual" Grammys:</b> Adele. Oh, wait, this is the only category she's <i>not</i> nominated in (though she did win it in 2009). OK, well, then how about the Band Perry? They're a country act, and over the past decade, when nominated, country acts tend to win BNA (Shelby Lynne in 2001, Carrie Underwood in 2007, the Zac Brown Band in 2010). Oh, and it doesn't hurt that their "If I Die Young" was a certified crossover smash, either. <b>"Bizarro" Grammys:</b> It actually wouldn't be all that odd if Bon Iver wins here (since, even though I picked him to take Song of the Year, there's a pretty good shot <i>this</i> is the "Big Four" award he wins), so, can I interest you in some Skrillex? <b>Continuum-Uniting Winner:</b> Barbz rejoice, I'm taking Nicki Minaj! Why? Well, after a massive year, she was ignored everywhere else in the "Big Four," so a BNA win would be a nice olive branch extended by Grammy voters. Also, no hip-hop artist (male <i>or</i> female) has won this award since Lauryn Hill in 1999, and how bizarro is that?!? So fittingly, Best New Artist is hers. <i>Make your predictions for the Grammy Awards in the comments section below!</i></p>

Dianna Agron: In A Wheelchair For Good On "Glee"?!

Making safety look fashionable, Dianna Agron strapped on a helmet while delving into her filming duties on Tuesday (February 21).

The "Glee" actress wore a bright yellow top under a polka dot jacket with skinny jeans for the Los Angeles workday on her FOX show's set.

Sitting in a wheelchair, the 25-year-old was joined by co-star Kevin McHale, with the pair preparing for what is believed to be a wheelchair race for an upcoming episode of the musical comedy.

As for the "Winter Finale" episode that aired tonight (February 21), Miss Agron's Quinn Fabray character got into a car crash - which may just have something to do with her being in a wheelchair during the day's shoot.

But we'll have to wait awhile to find out, as "Glee" comes back with its next episode airing on Tuesday, April 10th at 8/7c on FOX.

Beyonce's Baby, Britney's Betrothal And More: 2012 Predictions

We forecast the year that will be for your favorite stars, in Bigger Than the Sound.
By James Montgomery

<P>Welcome to 2012, the year that will either bring us <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2012_phenomenon" target="_blank">the end of civilization</a> as we know it or perhaps flying cars (finally!) Of course, between those two events, there's also going to be a presidential election, the London Olympics and that last "Twilight" movie (finally x 100!), not to mention a whole lot of activity within the lives of your favorite stars, too: Babies, weddings, honorary doctorates in nanotechnology; <i>this</i> is the year it'll all happen. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:722495.id:1672369" width="240" height="211"></div><p> Which is why, with the new year upon us, I've decided to get my <a href="http://www.amazingkreskin.com/" target="_blank">Kreskin</a> on with these predictions for 2012. Don't ask me to gaze deep into my crystal ball and try to foresee who'll win the White House or the World Series, because, seriously, if I knew that, don't you think I'd be wagering right now? Instead, I'm tackling the <i>important</i> topics. Here's my 2012 forecast for the Beyonc&#233;s and Britneys of the world ... partly cloudy, with a zero-percent chance of accuracy. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/knowles_beyonce/artist.jhtml">Beyonc&#233;</a> and <a href="/music/artist/jay_z/artist.jhtml">Jay-Z</a> will welcome a daughter, who, upon her, uh, <i>release,</i> will also release her debut single, "Run the World (Me)." &#187; <a href="/music/artist/adele/artist.jhtml">Adele</a> will win every single Grammy, including a stunning upset of <i>Eres Un Farsante</i> in the Best Regional Mexican Or Tejano Album category. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/spears_britney/artist.jhtml">Britney Spears</a> and Jason Trawick will tie the knot in an elaborate, multi-denominational ceremony held &#8212; eh, I don't even care enough to finish this one. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/perry_katy/artist.jhtml">Katy Perry</a>, having finally run out of singles to release off <i>Teenage Dream,</i> will spend the entirety of 2012 shooting videos for objects around her house. Her hits will include "Toaster," "KitchenAid Tilt-Head Stand Mixer" and "This Towel Set Someone Gave Russell and I for Our Wedding That We Keep in the Guest Bathroom." &#187; <a href="/music/artist/dr_dre/artist.jhtml">Dr. Dre</a> will indefinitely scrap <i>Detox</i> and instead drop a more age-appropriate album called <i>The Chronic Arthritis.</i> &#187; <a href="/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> will wear a crazy hat or something. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/rihanna/artist.jhtml">Rihanna</a> will release six albums in 2012, each more raunchy than the last. Titles include <i>Speculum,</i> <i>[Censored] [Censored] On My [Censored],</i> and <i>Songs About F---ing,</i> which, oddly, will be a note-for-note remake of Big Black's <i>Songs About F---ing.</i> &#187; Dave Grohl is sure to do something awesome. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/drake/artist.jhtml">Drake</a>'s sweater game will become so advanced that he will surpass Bill Cosby as the world's foremost expert on multi-hued knitwear. On a related note, he will also release a comedy album called <i>To Russell, My Brother, Whom I Slept With.</i> &#187; <a href="/music/artist/minaj__nicki/artist.jhtml">Nicki Minaj</a> will stun the fashionistas when she appears at the annual Met Ball wearing a nice pantsuit she bought at Bealls. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a> will finally get that bike without the training wheels, since he's a big boy now. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/black_keys/artist.jhtml">The Black Keys</a>, buoyed by the success of their <a href="http://www.mtv.com/videos/the-black-keys/706819/lonely-boy.jhtml">"Lonely Boy" video</a>, will shoot another dance-only clip for "Gold on the Ceiling," this one set at Gallagher's 2000 and featuring nothing but topless women. Surprisingly, it will become the most-viewed music video in the history of everything. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/lil_wayne/artist.jhtml">Lil Wayne</a> will come full circle, get a tattoo <i>of</i> his face <i>on</i> his face. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/guns_n_roses/artist.jhtml">Guns N' Roses</a> will reunite at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony in April, only with that dude who plays a guitar shaped like a foot filling in for Slash and Tommy Stinson replacing Duff on bass. So, actually, it won't be Guns N' Roses at all. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/coldplay/artist.jhtml">Coldplay</a>'s Chris Martin is just going to be fingerpainting everything. &#187; <a href="/music/artist/ross__rick__rap_/artist.jhtml">Rick Ross</a> will be named the Memphis Restaurant Association's Restaurateur of the Year for his tremendous achievements in <a href="http://newsroom.mtv.com/2011/08/05/rick-ross-wingstop">Wingstop-ery.</a> &#187; <a href="/music/artist/west_kanye/artist.jhtml">Kanye West</a> will <i>literally</i> explode. &#187; Fans of <a href="/music/artist/skrillex/artist.jhtml">Skrillex</a> will stop and realize that, in 1997, EDM was poised take over America too, and we ended up with Limp Bizkit as a result.</p>

Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston are going to leave it all behind for "Wanderlust," but before they do, they're answering your questions.

On Wednesday, February 22, Rudd and Aniston will sit down with MTV News' Josh Horowitz to present a clip from their brand-new movie "Wanderlust" during "MTV First." At 7:56 p.m. ET on MTV, the two will introduce the clip. Immediately afterward, the interview will continue for 30 minutes on MTV.com, where Rudd and Aniston will answer more of your questions.

To get your question answered, all you have to do is send it via Twitter, using @MTVNews and the hashtag #MTVFirst or #AskWanderlust.

"MTV First" will give you a chance to see a never-before-seen clip from "Wanderlust," two days before it hits theaters February 24.

In "Wanderlust," Rudd and Aniston play two down-on-their-luck New Yorkers who look for a new way of life. After first seeking refuge with relatives, the couple stumble across Elysium, a commune of free-spirit people who welcome them with open arms — a little too open.

"Wanderlust" comes from director David Wain and co-writer Ken Marino, two of the guys behind the cult classic "Wet, Hot American Summer," and comedy super-producer Judd Apatow. Justin Theroux and Malin Akerman co-star.

Be sure you get your questions in to MTV.com or via Twitter, using @MTVNews and the hashtag #MTVFirst to get your questions answered by Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston. Then tune in to MTV at 7:56 p.m. ET on Wednesday, February 22, to see if your question made the cut.

Check out everything we've got on "Wanderlust."

'Friday Night Lights' Movie Still In The Works

'We're not done with 'Friday Night Lights,' ' executive producer Peter Berg tells MTV News.
By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz

Taylor Kitsch on the "Friday Night Lights" TV series
Photo: NBC

The last time we checked in on a potential movie based on the "Friday Night Lights" TV series, star Taylor Kitsch told MTV News that he knew just as much as we did. "I hear hearsay and all this kind of stuff," Kitsch said, adding that executive producer Peter Berg could always make it happen. "If Pete sets his mind to something, he'll usually get it done."

MTV News was lucky enough to catch up with Berg himself at a "Battleship" preview at Toy Fair in New York, and we asked for an update on the movie.

"Jason Katims, who was our super talented show-runner, is about done with the script," Berg said. "You never know. So much of these things become scheduling. Kyle [Chandler] is busy, Adrianne [Palicki] is busy, Taylor is busy, Connie Britton is busy, but if we can get everyone in the same room at the same time, we all want to do it. We're not done with 'Friday Night Lights.' "

Speaking to a potential plotline, Berg said they plan to involve some real-life elements pegged to former Texas Tech football coach Mike Leach but that things will revolve around Coach and Tami Taylor from the TV series.

"[Katims] has come up with a really great storyline that parallels what happened to Mike Leach, one of my heroes, a coach at Texas Tech who was unjustly fired and unjustly accused of mistreating a player with a concussion, which was proven to not have been the case. He's now at Washington State getting ready for what I think will be a great redemption story," Berg explained. "It would be critical that we get Kyle and Connie [onboard for the film] — we anchored the show around them — and then bring in Riggins, Tyra, Lyla and all other characters as we could get them. But the idea is to really revolve it around the coach."

Kitsch seemed to have reservations about returning to his beloved character, but he's open to a cameo. "I loved the way I left Riggs," Kitsch said when asked if he'd like to continue on with the character. "You never know. Maybe a little cameo or something. We'll see if he even wants me in it."

<P><a href="http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/lady_gaga/artist.jhtml">Lady Gaga</a> is amping up her fans for the <a href="/news/articles/1675649/lady-gaga-born-this-way-tour.jhtml"><i>Born This Way</i> Ball</a>, set to kick off later this year. On Tuesday, she dropped a sketch of her gothic castle-themed <a href="/news/articles/1678676/lady-gaga-born-this-way-stage.jhtml">stage design</a>, and in the very early hours of Wednesday morning (February 8), she teased fans with a poster for the trek. </p><div class="player-placeholder right" id="vid:717952" width="240" height="211"></div><p> The black-and-white poster, which includes touches of neon purple and turquoise, features an omniscient image of Gaga, decked out in her full "BTW" horned look, looking down from the sky. Underneath, in a castle that looks an awful lot like the one from the tour sketch, Gaga, wearing a piano dress, hangs with a group of suit-wearing dudes. And, for those paying close enough attention, Zombie Boy even makes an appearance, peeking out from one of the castle windows. In her long-simmering latest <a href="/news/articles/1670550/lady-gaga-you-and-i-fashion-film.jhtml">"Yo&#252; and I" fashion film</a>, Gaga portrays her male alter ego, <a href="http://popcrush.com/lady-gaga-fourth-haus-of-u-you-i-fashion-jo-calderone" target="_blank">Jo Calderone</a>. Jo smolders in the mini-film, smoking his way through it. Clips of Jo stripping (revealing Gaga's taped-down chest) are intercut with shots of Gaga done up in an S&M-type outfit, dancing and tossing her long blond hair. The same outfit is worn by other dancers also featured in the clip, directed by Inez and Vinoodh. Along with all these developments Little Monsters have to be excited about, this Sunday, Mother Monster is up for a number of Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album for <i>Born This Way</i> and Best Pop Solo Performance for "Yo&#252; and I." <i>Are you excited for Lady Gaga's upcoming tour? 'Hunger Games': The Memes That Caught Fire

This week's Hobnobbing celebrates Seneca Crane's beard, Peeta's advice and more Web wonders.
By Amy Wilkinson

Wes Bentley as Seneca Crane in "The Hunger Games"
Photo: Lionsgate

Three years can feel like an eternity. That's how long "The Hunger Games" fans will have sat around sharpening their arrows between Lionsgate purchasing the film rights to Suzanne Collins' novel and the movie ultimately swooping into theaters March 23. But it's also been a productive 36 or so months for the series' acolytes, evidenced by the plethora of Panem-centric memes that have cropped up online to amuse, inform and enthrall.

From Seneca Crane's beard to Katniss' orange backpack, let's celebrate the things that have made this infernal wait a little less painful. (Special thanks to Twitter friends who sent in their recommendations.)

Seneca Crane's beard
Wes Bentley's flame-shaped fuzz was destined for Internet infamy. Following the debut of "The Hunger Games" full-length trailer, the stylized scruff seemed to be one of the hottest topics of conversation. A Facebook page (and insightful interview with Hollywood Crush) followed, proving the beard had staying power — even if it didn't stay on Bentley's face forever. "I would have loved to have kept the beard, but that beard took two hours to groom every day," he told MTV News. "It's such a cool look. Ve Neill, the makeup designer, did such an amazing job. It's exciting that it's getting that kind of attention."

Advice Peeta
Peeta is the wisest baker's son we know. Need proof? Take a gander at Advice Peeta, recommended by @TheHobOrg, where the disembodied head of Josh Hutcherson dispenses pithy platitudes and nuggets of wisdom. "Remember who the real enemy is: Panera," one reads, while another declares, "I set fireeeeeee to the bread." Aw, Peeta's an Adele fan! We knew it.

Lord Buttercup
District 12's male tribute isn't the only character pontificating online. Even Prim's mangy tomcat is getting in on the action. Similarly styled to Advice Peeta, Lord Buttercup, recommended by @mirandahakim, has plenty to say too, like "I am the Mockingjay. LOL JK I'm a cat." The busy feline also manages his own Twitter account, @LordButtercup. Because the revolution needs social-media-minded mongrels.

Effie's shoes
One of the newer (and perhaps less prevalent) memes, recommended by @HGgirlonfire, is a foot fetishist's best friend. Effie Trinket's gold booties (supposedly fashioned after an Alexander McQueen design) made their debut on the recently launched Capitol Couture. And our shoe envy will never be the same.

Katniss' orange backpack
Clearly, "Hunger Games" fans are a fashion-conscious bunch, because when the first "Hunger Games" teaser debuted, and it appeared Katniss' bright backpack had been replaced by a duller version, die-hards were not pleased. Thankfully, further peeks have confirmed that the fiery bag, which Katniss grabs at the beginning of the Games, is indeed a player. And, as recommended by @pikko, it continues to be celebrated on Facebook.

What's your favorite "Hunger Games" meme? Sound off in the comments below and tweet me @amymwilk with your thoughts and suggestions for future columns!

Amber Portwood: No More MTV

It looks like we have seen the end of Teen Mom train wreck, Amber Portwood. At least for the next few years. Find out why here. This judge is going hard on Teen Mom Amber Portwood. I can?t say I blame him, but I don?t necessarily agree either. Amber has been in a world of trouble lately, most recently with a drug arrest. The Indiana judge ruling in her case gave her a plea deal which gets her out of jail, but off of Teen Mom. TMZ reports that , Amber has been ordered to live in a halfway house for up to 3 years and get a court approved 9-to-5 job that she must attend at least 5 days a week. Teen Mom will not count as having a job, and more importantly Amber is banned from taping while in the halfway house. Being she must live in the halfway house for up to three years and maintain a court approved 9 to 5, that puts her reality career on hold. The judge did ask that MTV not sue Amber for breach of contract, and they agreed. While I can see where the judge is coming from, I think [...]

'This Means War': The Reviews Are In!

Critics aren't buying into the love triangle between Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy.
By Kara Warner

Tom Hardy and Chris Pine in "This Means War"
Photo: 20th Century Fox

"This Means War" has all the makings of a perfect romantic comedy/ action flick, including the very attractive and high-caliber stars Reese Witherspoon, Chris Pine and Tom Hardy, the capable direction of McG, comic relief from Chelsea Handler and a script from the guys whose combined talents have brought us "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," "Sherlock Holmes," "Role Models" and "Just Go With It."

The story revolves around two best friends and highly skilled CIA agents who fall in love with the same woman and go to war with each other in an effort to win her heart. We imagine the filmmakers set out to make a fun, if only slightly farfetched, popcorn flick, but the critical masses couldn't seem to suspend their disbelief. The film has a 30 percent Fresh Rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Read on as we fight through the "This Means War" reviews!

The Story
"Having great-looking stars who have the added bonus of actually being able to act makes the noisy romp 'This Means War' more tolerable that it ought to be. It's essentially a love-triangle version of "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," rendered even more bombastic in the hands of "Charlie's Angels" director McG. (Simon Kinberg, who wrote the 2005 film that spawned Brangelina, shares script credit here with Timothy Dowling.) So you've got your sport utility vehicles tumbling in slow motion, your gravity-defying shootouts and your obligatory explosions galore. Naturally, the premise is the most high-concept, contrived confection: Two CIA agents (Chris Pine and Tom Hardy) who happen to be best friends also happen to fall in love with the same woman (Reese Witherspoon), who has no idea these guys know each other. They promise their shared pursuit won't ruin their friendship, but good luck with all that." — Christy Lemire, The Associated Press

The Bromance Factor
"The relationship that truly sizzles — from the sentiment to the satire — is the one between FDR (Pine) and Tuck (Hardy), with Pine and Hardy pulling off one of the better bromances in recent memory. ... Hardy ('Inception') and Pine ('Star Trek') are the heart of the film — proving to be excellent opposing sides of the same coin. Both balance their characters' cynicism with a certain sweetness, their chemistry fairly crackling, electrifying the screen almost any time they're sharing it, whether taking down a bad guy or squabbling about who is more lovable (it's a tossup). With Lauren, on the other hand, they are basically gentlemen, so not electrifying." — Betsy Sharkey, Los Angeles Times

The Suspension of Disbelief Factor, or Lack Therof
"And in the film's opening minutes, it feels as if that might be the desired effect: It's loaded with overblown action chestnuts like from-the-hip gunplay, people dangling from the sides of skyscrapers and a gruff commanding officer. (That would be Angela Bassett, who shows up periodically to growl at her charges in a role that might have been hilarious had anyone thought to write anything legitimately funny for her.) But a good parody takes a finesse that isn't in the vocabulary of McG, a bargain-basement Michael Bay more concerned with cool than coherence. Instead we get utter nonsense like a video store with a database that conveniently includes customer photos for the CIA to tap into. (Related: These characters are, in 2012, going to a video store?) In another scene, FDR wrestles on the floor with a small dog that has just attacked him, as Lauren stands 5 feet away, oblivious. The Farrelly brothers should sue the producers not for stealing the scene outright from 'There's Something About Mary,' but for imitating it so badly." — Ian Buckwalter, NPR

The Final Word
"Part spy caper, part buddy picture, part romantic comedy, part raunchy-girl-talk sex farce, This Means War has been assembled with all the haphazardness of an amateur science experiment. The project was directed by the amped-up industry go-getter McG (Charlie's Angels), and it's had a long trial-and-error history. The initial script dates back a century — or at least about a decade — and the string of famous guys who didn't take the dual lead male roles reportedly includes Bradley Cooper, Seth Rogen, Sam Worthington, and, stretching even further back, Chris Rock and Martin Lawrence. All this fiddling and fumbling shows on the screen. And yet, and yet ... I confess I enjoyed everything that's all over the place about the finished product. 'This Means War' may have been hammered together by brute Hollywood force, but there's this going for it: It's game to throw in anything that'll keep the motor running." — Lisa Schwarzbaum, Entertainment Weekly
